Very low on staff. Our welcome was a little haphazard. However the enthusiastic front of house soon put things on a more professional level and thereafter the service was more streamlined. The wine list is good and fait.y priced, as is the menu.Our meal was very good, well-cooked and interesting. Despite having been here 21 years, the chef  has not lost his drive, nor his interest in creating exciting, new dishes. Sadly unlike the much more expensive one star in Beaune, where complacency has crept in.This is a great restaurant, and one to return to again and again.

Beautiful setting with good service, unfortunately very disappointing food. We had the John Dory which was tepid at best, over cooked and tasted like it has been cooked earlier that day and then reheated to order.

The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable.
